The State of Ohio has recently filed a complaint against The Shelly Company for alleged violations of state air pollution regulations.

Many of you may hear or read unfavorable statements about The Shelly Company's practices or alleged violations. I want to assure you that The Shelly Company's environmental and legal staff is working with the Ohio EPA and the Attorney General to amicably resolve this dispute.

Consistent with our operating philosophy, The Shelly Company has always been on the leading edge of safety, technology, regulation compliance and environmental stewardship. All 3,000 Shelly team members are proud of our environmental record and we will continue to be leaders in the future.

The Shelly Company is concerned about the environment and works very hard to be a good neighbor in the communities we serve. Given our record of high environmental standards, we deeply regret this dispute with the Ohio EPA.
